Cape Hillsborough

We arrived at Cape Hillsborough National Park around lunchtime and of course we were starving. We were excited to see that the caravan park had more waterslides!

After some sliding we went for a walk and to try fishing on the beach.

We found some really strange sea creatures...because our teachers are reading, we won't tell you what we called them...can you guess?

The crabs made really cool patterns on the beach, this was our favourite.

The next morning Mum woke us up at 5am to see the sunrise. Wallabies and kangaroos come to the beach to eat mangrove pods. It was amazing and we like the baby kangaroos the best.

Two sibling kangaroos were fighting, just like us in the car.

After sunrise Millie and Dad went for a walk to Wedge Island as it was low tide. They accidentally stayed too long and had to swim through water to get back, even though the guide said not to as there were crocodiles.

We miss you all and wish you were here with us. TMH xx
